Keep in mind they are mandated by California law to cover most autism therapies. Also keep in mind they have been dragging their heels since November in paying out this claim. Thank god they were paying us interest on that 56 cents.

I'd be tempted to contact the billing department to inquire as to the calculations they used to figure out how they determined they owed less than a buck.

If for no other reason than to amuse my blog readers...

in my (extensive) insurance company experience, you have to ride their asses hard to get them to pay the bills they are "supposed" to have paid.

and remember, when all else fails: cry.
